Appointed directly for the client initially and subsequently novated to the contractor, collinshallgreen LTD have acted as engineers on this challenging site surrounded by the River Trent on one boundary, highway on another and structures abutting each end.
The piled building incorporates a transfer deck for a low level car park and utilizes a predominately load bearing masonry – structure with steelwork isolated for balconies. Being over four-stories high, disproportionate collapse requirements were incorporated in the pre-cast plank floors.
