Description of collinshallgreen’s involvement with the construction of the commercial premises at 40 Little London Road, Sheffield.
The project was a 4-storey, braced steel frame open-plan office building, with composite floor slabs on piled foundations with a suspended ground floor slab. CHG was involved in this project from Phase 1 and 2 investigations, through the construction period to completion.
The design and construction period lasted for approximately 2 years. The design team included Tatlow Stancer Architects and Mascot Management, with HP Construction as the main contractor.
Along with the steel frame and foundations, CHG was also responsible for the design of the drainage system, highway and external works.
